Peptide Concentration Calculator
Free peptide calculator for mg/mcg, concentration, doses per vial, and U-100 syringe units. For laboratory research. Verified free account required.
From mass to concentration
Enter the dose amount, total peptide in the vial, and water volume. The calculator shows concentration, doses per vial, and the corresponding U-100 syringe volume.

- Enter your laboratory aliquot amount under “Dose of peptide” and the total vial mass under “Strength of peptide.” Select mg or mcg for each field.
- Enter the final solution volume in mL under “Water of peptide.” Choose a preset or type a custom value.
- Select a 0.3, 0.5, or 1 mL U-100 syringe scale, then calculate to see concentration, volume, scale position, and complete doses per vial.
Sometimes called a peptide reconstitution calculator, this tool checks the arithmetic for values you supply. It does not select a solvent, a preparation method, or a dose.
How the peptide calculator works
Let M be total peptide mass in milligrams, V be final solution volume in milliliters, and A be the peptide mass wanted in one laboratory aliquot, also in milligrams.
- Mass concentration
- C = M ÷ V, expressed in mg/mL.
- Aliquot volume
- v = A ÷ C, expressed in mL. Multiply by 1,000 for µL.
- U-100 syringe units
- Units = v × 100. Capacity changes the scale’s maximum, not the units-per-mL conversion.
- Complete aliquots / doses per vial
- N = floor(M ÷ A). Round down to count only full portions.
A laboratory example
For 8 mg in a final volume of 4 mL, the concentration is 2 mg/mL. A 0.4 mg laboratory aliquot requires 0.2 mL (200 µL). The solution contains 20 such aliquots before losses. These example values illustrate arithmetic and are not a recommended preparation or dose.
Units and assumptions
How do mg and µg differ?
1 mg = 1,000 µg. The calculator converts each mass to mg before calculating, so total mass and aliquot mass can use different units.
Does vial mass equal peptide content?
Not necessarily. The result uses the mass you enter, without correcting for water, counterions, purity, or net peptide content. Consult the batch documentation and our net peptide content guide when deciding which value your laboratory method requires.
What does this tool assume?
Complete dissolution, a homogeneous solution, and no degradation or transfer loss. Water volume is treated as final solution volume; if dissolution changes that volume, use the measured final volume. This tool does not determine solubility, solvent compatibility, stability, or biological activity. It calculates mass concentration, not molarity.
Does this calculator recommend a dose?
No. It converts the amount you enter into a volume and an illustrative U-100 scale position. It does not establish an appropriate dose, treatment, or preparation for human or animal use. Savage Labs compounds are for in vitro research only.
