Check the record for the batch you need

A product listing describes a compound and its listed specifications. A batch Certificate of Analysis (CoA) records results for the material identified on that report. Do not treat a purity percentage on a catalog page as a substitute for the underlying batch documentation.

Review the documentation link on the product page when one is available. If no report is linked, ask support which analytical records are available before ordering. Availability of a downloadable CoA is not implied for every product or batch.

How to request a CoA

1. Identify the compound and vial size shown in the catalog.
2. Include the lot or batch identifier from the label, if you already have the material.
3. Include your order number for an existing purchase.
4. State which documents or measurements your laboratory requires, including any need for the chromatogram or identity analysis.

Questions to resolve before accepting a report

• Does the compound name and batch identifier match the material under review?
• Are the issuing laboratory, report date, methods, units, and results stated?
• Is a measurement reported as chromatographic purity, identity, or content?
• Does the report include the tests your specific laboratory protocol requires?
