PRIVACY POLICY

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Vitamedics LLC ("Vitamedics," "Savage Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates the Savage Labs website at savagelabs.us (the "Site"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit the Site, create an account, place an order, or contact us.

By using the Site you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

• Account: name, email address, and a password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Orders & checkout: name, email address, phone number, shipping address, the products you order, your selected payment method (Zelle or Cash App), and order/invoice history.
• Communications: messages you send us through the contact form, by email, or via WhatsApp, and any newsletter signup (email address).
• Preferences: your marketing-email and restock-alert opt-in choices.

Information collected automatically:

• A randomly generated session identifier stored in the sl_session cookie.
• Device and browser information (such as your browser user-agent), the pages you view, the page that referred you, and on-site actions such as product views, searches, and add-to-cart events.
• Technical log data, including IP address, generated by our hosting and infrastructure providers for security and reliability.

We do not collect or store your payment card or bank-account details. Payments are completed off-site through Zelle or Cash App (see Section 5).

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a small number of strictly first-party cookies and browser storage items. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• sl_session — an anonymous session cookie (about 30 minutes) used for site analytics.
• sl-cart — browser local storage that remembers the items in your cart.
• An age-verification flag remembering that you confirmed you meet the age requirement.
• Authentication tokens set by our login provider when you sign in to an account.

You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings, though some features (such as your cart or staying signed in) may not work as intended.

4. How We Use Your Information

• Process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and coordinate payment.
• Create and maintain your account and provide customer support (including over email and WhatsApp).
• Send transactional messages (order confirmations, invoices, shipping and payment updates).
• Send marketing or newsletter emails where you have opted in (see Section 6).
• Operate, analyze, secure, and improve the Site, and prevent fraud and abuse.
• Verify age eligibility and comply with our legal obligations.

5. Payments

Payments are completed off-site using Zelle or Cash App. After you place an order we email you an invoice with payment-completion instructions. Your payment is handled by those services and their own terms and privacy policies, and we never receive or store your card or bank-account numbers. We do retain order and invoice records (amounts, the payment method chosen, and payment status) to process and account for your purchase.

6. Marketing Emails & Your Choices

Transactional vs. marketing. Transactional messages about your orders — order confirmations, invoices and payment instructions, shipping updates, and any restock alert you requested — are necessary to provide the products and service you asked for. They are not marketing and are sent regardless of your marketing choices. Marketing and newsletter emails (new products, offers, lab updates) are separate and are sent only to addresses that have opted in.

Opting in at checkout. Our checkout presents marketing opt-in checkboxes that start unchecked. If you choose a box when you complete a purchase, the email address you provided will be subscribed to marketing emails. If you previously unsubscribed, a later purchase does not subscribe you again unless you explicitly select a marketing option. If you are signed in and already subscribed, we do not show these boxes; if you are signed in and not subscribed, they are shown so you can opt in.

Un-checking at checkout is not an unsubscribe. Clearing a checkout opt-in box only means we will not add a new subscription during that purchase — it does not remove an address that is already subscribed. To stop receiving marketing emails, you must unsubscribe through our Email Preferences page or the unsubscribe link in any marketing email — clearing the box at a later checkout will not do it.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the one-click unsubscribe link in any marketing email, by entering your email on our Email Preferences page, by turning off marketing emails in your account settings, or by emailing us. We maintain a suppression list and automatically stop emailing addresses that unsubscribe, hard-bounce, or report a message as spam.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the Site, and only as needed to provide their service:

• Supabase — database and account authentication (stores account, order, and analytics data).
• Vercel — website and application hosting, including technical/server logs.
• Resend — delivery of our transactional and marketing emails, and receipt of email replies.
• Discord — internal order notifications; order details (such as items, totals, and customer name) are posted to a private staff channel.
• WhatsApp / Meta — if you choose to contact us via our WhatsApp support line.
• Zelle (Early Warning Services) and Cash App (Block, Inc.) — only when you choose to pay using them.

We may also disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our agreements, protect the rights, safety, and security of Savage Labs and others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Site, fulfill orders, and meet our legal, tax, accounting, and record-keeping obligations. Order and email-log records are retained for our business records. Suppression-list entries are kept indefinitely so that we can continue to honor opt-outs.

9. Data Security

We protect your information using encryption in transit (HTTPS/HSTS), database row-level security, and access controls that limit who can view personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct or update it (much of it is editable in your account settings);
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to records we must retain by law;
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time.

Because we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. Residents of California and certain other states may have additional rights under applicable law. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@savagelabs.us; we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Age Requirement & Children

The Site is intended only for users who are at least 21 years of age, and it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. United States Operations

Savage Labs is operated in the United States, and the service providers we use process and store data in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page, and we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
