PROMOTIONAL EMAIL & DISCOUNT CODE TERMS

1. What These Terms Cover

These Promotional Email & Discount Code Terms ("Promotional Terms") apply when you submit your email address to Savage Labs, a brand operated by Vitamedics LLC ("Vitamedics," "Savage Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), in exchange for a discount code — including through the welcome offer that appears on our website.

They are in addition to, and do not replace, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Research Use Disclaimer. Where these Promotional Terms address a subject those documents do not, these Promotional Terms control for that subject.

2. Consent to Marketing Email

By submitting your email address to receive a discount code, you are signing up to receive promotional and marketing emails from Savage Labs, and you agree to these Promotional Terms. Accepting the code and consenting to marketing email are a single transaction: the code is what we give in exchange for permission to email you.

Those emails may include product launches, restock notices, discounts and promotions, research-material updates, and occasional company announcements. We do not send a fixed number of messages per month, and the frequency may change.

You must be at least 21 years of age to subscribe. Do not submit an email address that is not yours. If you receive our marketing email and did not sign up, use the unsubscribe link in that email or contact us and we will remove the address.

3. How the Discount Code Works

• One redemption per email address. A code is issued to the address that requested it and may be used for one order by that address. This limit is enforced on our side and is not waived by creating additional accounts.
• The email at checkout must match the email that received the code. If you check out with a different address — including as a guest — the code will be refused. You do not need an account to use the code, only the same email address.
• One offer at a time. Promotional codes cannot be combined with each other or with any other offer, unless we state otherwise in writing.
• No cash value. Codes are not transferable, cannot be sold or exchanged, and carry no cash or credit value.
• Applies to the order subtotal. A discount applies to eligible product subtotal only, before tax and shipping, and may exclude specific products or categories.
• Refunds and cancellations. If a discounted order is cancelled or refunded, the discount is not reissued as credit and the code is not restored.

4. Availability, Expiry & Withdrawal

Promotional offers are limited-time and may carry a start date, an expiry date, a minimum order amount, or a cap on total redemptions. Those limits are stated with the offer where they apply.

We may change, suspend, or withdraw any promotional offer at any time, including after a code has been issued but before it is used. Where an offer has been withdrawn, the code will no longer apply at checkout. Withdrawing an offer does not affect an order already placed, and it does not by itself unsubscribe you.

5. Fair Use & Abuse

These offers are for individual researchers and institutions buying for their own use. We may refuse, cancel, or reverse a discount, and may suspend an account or email address from future offers, where we reasonably believe a code has been obtained or used through disposable or automated address generation, duplicate or fictitious accounts, submission of an address that is not yours, resale or public posting of a personal code, or any other circumvention of the one-per-address limit.

6. How to Unsubscribe

You can stop marketing email at any time, at no cost, by:

• using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send you;
• entering your address on our Email Preferences page;
• turning off marketing emails in your account settings, if you have an account; or
• emailing support@savagelabs.us.

We maintain a suppression list and automatically stop emailing addresses that unsubscribe, hard-bounce, or report a message as spam. Once you unsubscribe, we do not resubscribe you because a third party enters your address in a signup form.

Unsubscribing does not cancel a code you have already been given, and it does not stop transactional email — order confirmations, payment and shipping notices, account and security messages — which is not marketing and cannot be unsubscribed from while you have an open order or an account.

7. Data Notice

When you submit the signup form we record your email address, the date and time, the offer you responded to, and whether the address already has an account. We record request metadata, including a network address, for the limited purpose of rate-limiting abuse of the signup and code-redemption endpoints. If you later use the code, we record that redemption against your email address — that record is what enforces the one-per-address limit.

We use this to send you the marketing email you signed up for, to issue and honour the code, to prevent abuse, and to measure how the campaign performed. Our email is delivered through Resend and our records are held in Supabase, both acting as our processors. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your address with third parties for their own marketing.

We keep subscription and redemption records for as long as needed to run and audit the programme, and we retain a suppression record of unsubscribed addresses indefinitely — that is what keeps us from emailing you again. 8. Research Use Only

A discount does not change what our products are or how they may be used. All products sold by Savage Labs are intended strictly for in vitro research, laboratory use, and scientific investigation only, and are not for human or veterinary consumption. See our Research Use Disclaimer.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Promotional Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page and we will update the "Last Updated" date above. The version in effect when you submitted your email address governs the code you were issued.
